Husqvarna has introduced a series of updates to the FS450 Supermoto for 2025, enhancing its performance and ergonomics while maintaining the bike's race-ready nature. Despite its lightweight 108.9kg frame (excluding fuel), the FS450 is equipped with Launch Control, Traction Control, a Quickshifter, and two engine maps—all of which can be adjusted on the fly via a handlebar-mounted Map Select Switch.

The bike retains its 450cc SOHC 4-stroke engine, which weighs 26.8kg and is paired with a five-speed gearbox, borrowed from the FC450 motocrosser. The only engine modification for 2025 is a new air inlet sleeve designed to optimize airflow.
 

Most of the updates focus on the chassis and ergonomics. The FS450 now features 48mm WP XACT Closed Cartridge forks, offering 285mm of travel—15mm less than its enduro counterpart. The rear suspension remains unchanged with 266mm of travel, using the same WP XACT mono-shock with a CFD-optimized main piston and tool-free adjusters.

Husqvarna has revised the engine mounts and chromium-molybdenum steel mainframe to enhance flex characteristics, reducing material around the upper shock mount and steering head to improve compliance and slightly decrease weight. Additionally, the die-cast aluminum swingarm has been redesigned for increased durability of the chain slider.

Ergonomic improvements include a five-millimeter increase in both seat height and width, new radiator shrouds for better leg positioning, and smaller footrests for improved ground clearance during cornering. The updates are completed with a fresh set of graphics. The FS450 is priced at £11,799, which is £550 more than last year's model.
